Mother almost loses child together with her Vios in Seremban
It was an ordinary day for Seremban mother G. Punitha, who had run out of credit on her handphone and needed to contact her husband. She left the car with her youngest daughter, Shobana, inside with the engine running to use a public phone near her Taman Bukit Kepayang home.
She wasn’t worried as the car was just inches away. However when she had finished her call, she found her way barred. She was pushed to the ground. The man drove away to Seremban town with her car. She pursued the car frantically but it was no use.
It could have been a different story. Fortunately a police patrol car was nearby. Meanwhile, about 5km away in Mutiara Gala, a short distance away, lawyer T. Paramasivam was having drinks at a restaurant with a friend.
“A young couple walked in with a child, asking the people there if anyone knew the girl,” he said. She had been found wandering nearby with a wallet in her hands. The child was frightened but managed to be calmed down.
From the wallet they managed to trace the mother’s identity and called the police hotline. The next part is history. Mother and daughter were reunited amidst tears of joy.
G. Punitha was lucky. The thief wasn’t interested in the child and had in fact done every body a favour by dropping the child near the scene of the crime. Any thing could have happened after the child was separated from the mother.
The above story is a heart-warming story. The real purpose of this post is to tell you the mother’s thoughts and hope it will never happen to you or your family.
“I’ve read about it, but I never thought it would happen to me. I’m so relieved she wasn’t harmed or taken away. Never will I leave my children alone in the car again.”
Always lock your car even if it is only for a few minutes. Our children are a gift from God. They are also our responsibility. Never leave them unattended inside a car. You never know what might happen to them or the mischief they might get get into. Be smart and be cautious always when you are on the road with children in your car.

What’s the hassle to bring ur child with u when u make the call ?
one day you will have a child
, and she will be just as pretty as you
and then you will understand . kids r not pliable and have a mind of their own. at the best of times it is not easy to be a parent
i know it’s not easy to be a parent.. between the call and leaving her child alone… she choose to make the call… i mean.. it;s the decision making, isn’t it? Hmm.. i dunno la.. i have kid at home also… never try to leave my little cousin alone b4… it could be dangerous… haih…
I know she learned her lesson.
