No floods in Sibu after all
There had been fears that it might flood this weekend. Some families did prepare to shift their cars to higher ground in the eventuality of a flood occurring. Also it had been raining on Friday and Saturday. The water levels in the drains did rise but not to alarming levels.

This pic shows that the inner city area did experience a little overflowing of the drains but overall, the feared floods did not occur.
