Rumah Nyawin folks gradually being forgotten

The longhouse folks who had their longhouse torn down are gradually being forgotten. Some of their furniture are still strewn out in the open and their sacks of padi are wet. Plates are broken and wet furniture covered by bamboo mats to keep away the rain. The room they have been allocated 9ft by 10 ft is too small to fit in everything.
The water pressure is low and they seldom have a chance to do their washing. The men cannot sleep as at night they have to take care of their things which are still out in the open.
Sani Hitam, mother of two was still sobbing when Borneo Post reporter visited the scene
