A review of A Night at the Museum by My Longkang

Night at the Museum
Uploaded by cool_cool_child

I was introduced to this movie by an artistic and musical person, a choir director and excellent cook. According to him, it is a good movie to bring a kid to watch. It is exciting to think of a museum coming alive after closing hours. There was so much promise in the concept however the director didn’t quite deliver.

Ben Stiller and Wiliams and computer-generated things that go bump in the night didn’t quite save the show. After a while, it became tedious sitting through the movie. However, if I had brought Benghui, I might have seen it through his eyes and my review might be different. He would have loved it. At least I think so :)

This is not a paid ad.

wah, sibu real important city if it is showing this movie. This movie is only now having its premier in Leicester square in London. I was walking through the square last night, and there it was, with its big poster plastering the whole cinema facade. It featured ben stiller walking along a tunnel, and there were a few characters fr the movie looking at him at the side, while he passed by. There ws even a lion. I saw robin williams name listed, but he was way down the list. Is it the famous robin williams of mrs doubtfire, jumaji, etc fame? what is his role in the movie? or maybe the film is so boring, u dont recognise him? robin williams can disguise himself as in mrs doubtfire, so u cannot recognise him. the makeup people are that good. haha. though he has a very distinct voice.

You will be surprised how fast movies are available in Malaysia nowadays. :)
I have edited the post to show the advertisement for the movie in the local papers. However the ad is very small so it is very blur. :)

Nowadays unlike in the past, we are not so far behind .hahahah

I think the movie people are so afraid of pirate copies they want to show the movie quickly in the cinemas, or malaysians will buy the pirate dvds and not bother to see it in the cinema. here in uk, no pirate dvds available, so they can afford to take their time showing it in the cinemas. tx for the short film in ur post. For a trailer, it showed a lot of the film. It has a strong resemblance to jumanji,(actually more like a cross between jumanji and that film about dinosaur by speilburg?I forgot the name.)with animals coming to life. ON another note, has mel gibson’s movie apocalypse, been shown in sibu? it had its premier in uk, and did very well as highest grossing foreign film.
