Allergies…….
It happened this morning. The moment I got into the office, I noticed my colleague moving furtively. As a man
, my first thought omg..how embarrassing..did I forget to do up my zip? I checked and it was ok.
I quickly rushed into the men’s room but everything seemed to be alright. I was particularly anxious about her behavior as she was naturally gregarious, and bubbly. “She should be all over me by now,” I thought.
What was wrong? I came near her table nonchalantly on the pretext of going to retrieve some files. I didn’t imagine it. She turned away. This was getting confusing. What have I done?
Was I the next one to be reprimanded by the boss for some mistake, no matter how trivial?
It was then I noticed, there were funny marks on her face and neck. Ah..a light dawned on me. She is suffering from allergy. I turned around as I was embarrassed for her. She did it again, hiding herself behind her hair and glasses.
Allergies, the hidden scourge of the sufferers..especially those who have yet to find out what they are allergic to.

i’m allergic to pollens
I am allergic to aspirin..can be uncomfortable for a few days if take aspirin..though I don’t know why.
Allergies can cause a lot of miserable symptoms. Or they can just be a hassle. Miserable.
Last time whenever i take beer or liquor i’m alright but lately whenever i take alcoholic drinks there are tiny dots on my skin and i scratched it like a monkey. So itchy can die.
I’m allergic to pollens too..and some smells emitted by certain flowers, and also certain types of perfumes (eventhough I can’t tell which type precisely) *sigh*
I agree with Bernard. Allergies are miserable. The last time I was allergic to certain food product served in the form of buffet by one of the famous hotel here, I suffered a MISERABLE 3 whole months until the effect of whatever substance that caused it faded out. I’d never touch food from that place ever!!!
U r like my Mrs..she suffers the same fate too..the difficult part is tracng what you are allergic to
