Is this a wordpress blog? If yes, you can use Akismet. From the dashboard, you can turn it on. It’ll shunt all suspected spam to a folder and you can go skim thru and see whether they’re actually spam before you delete them all.

BTW, nice pic of Igan. I saw a man skinning an iguana on the ferry across the Igan once.

Bernard and Clement: Thanks a million. It is exasperating to find lists and lists of comments which are spam waiting for you all the time. Hopefully i can do something with yr advise :)

I love to cook iguana with ginger and chilly…young ones taste like chicken. We catch them with big hook and thick rope. No choice bcoz it threatens the chickens. Is it called iguana or monitor lizard i not sure, but it looks like buaya but is not. anyway a long time ago oledi i never eat it..

Wordpress 2.1 comes with an upgrade of Akismet. And I switched this function on too “Comment author must have a previously approved comment”. Captcha perhaps?

One word - Akismet. If you have to upgrade to WP2.1, it will come pre-installed. You’ll need to create an accounts over at Wordpress.com to get a free API key. You may want to read more about it at akismet.com :)
