Women’s role reduced to child machines

Imagine for a moment Wuching, Bernard, Ryan or me calling our better halves…child machines huh! I can imagine the stunned silence and frosty glares we will get. Try it on 5x mum and wait for her condemnation on her blogs hahah… Obviously bloggers just as the rest of the world, it is not the politically correct thing to do.

Women are much more than that. Honestly if I had to donate an organ to my wife so that she would live but I would have to die, I will do it. Maybe that shows how highly valued women folk are valued in some circles.

Coming back to the story, Japan’s health minister has termed women as “birth-giving machines” in a speech to a local political meeting.

What then shall we call men? The-sit-on-sofa in front of TV Sunday part-time staff? :)

He was talking in context of Japan’s plummeting birth rate and rapidly ageing population.

I think whatever he was advocating, it is still not right to refer to women as “birth-giving machines”. That only implies that the sole function of the existence of a woman is to give birth.

Now does THAT sound right to you?

Hi! I think we r all more than our biological functions.
It is like underestimating women and their capabilities..do u all agree?
