Sibu and Mukah Lions donate chairs to Mukah Hospital
This is a continuation from Visit to Mukah, Sarawak…the market.
Most of the time, I was in the passenger seat of my friend’s car so I didn’t stop to take pics . I shot pics as we were passing by. It was very hot while we were there. Perhaps it is because it is near the sea. Anyway I wished I was in this house because it looked so cool and comfortable. The car’s air-con was cool enough but somehow I felt warm when I saw this house surrounded by trees and shrubs partly hidden from the road.
This is the town mosque. Notice the roof. The design is based on the Melanau hat and it is beautiful.
For some reason or other, the lamp posts in this town are decorated with prawn motifs
The building on the left is where the government offices are sited …please correct me if I am mistaken.
We went to the Mukah General Hospital.
There, we donated some chairs to be used by patients while waiting to see the doctor. The chairs were ordered from Miri.
