Update on 82 year old woman killed by son’s girlfriend.

Pic of accused courtesy of the Borneo Post
The woman at the heart of the case has had her remand extended by five days.
The young woman, surname Yek who worked in an entertainment outlet will have to be present in court on Feb 12.
Due to the woman’s death, she could face the death penalty if found guilty and the judge so decides it.

Wow! What the hell is happening to this world??? Young killing old, old killing young, young killing young, incest, gang-rape, loan shark, etc…This world is DOOMED!!!
Talking about 12th Feb, I’m the most happy!!! I’m going home! I’m going home! Kampua, I miss you!!!
Pardon me for my insanity, bengbeng! I just wanna get home ASAP!!!
No trial wan ar? She is not going to defence herself meh?
Sibu misses u too i am sure
Aceone, she only has her remand extended..there is no trial yet, i have to edit my post..it should read she could face the death penalty if found guilty sorry
is death penalty still practiced in M’sia? well, it’s not a murder, but rather man slaughter maybe eh. murder sounds too… bad
I think Singapore too has death penalty for murder, manslaughter, drug trafficking, drug dealing, and half of a dozen things that pass through court
Personally, I think she didn’t intend it at all. The problem is that the woman is 82 years old. At that age, even a fall can be fatal. Yes, death penalty is still practiced but it remains to be seen the punishment meted out by the courts. On a personal level i think no death penalty here. There was no premeditation or motive. It just happened.
and the funny thing is… ppl even say she’s a daughter of a Datuk. As in the Dato’ Datuk. LOLZ!
the accused is innocent until found guilty, and all this is media sensation. Dont judge her until a judge does.
burn her on the stake!
i agree with wuching… ha ha, i need something violent in sibu to make it an entertaining town
actually i sympathize with her situation…it is something not intended…emotion run wild
I agree with what Joshua said.
