Lone gunman kills 32 and self on campus

33 people were killed including a lone gunman in Virginia Tech University, Blacksburg (Va). 15 others were wounded. It occurred two hours apart . The students had no chance against the weapon used. It is in the picturesque Blue Ridge Mountains where incidents of this sort are least expected. The lone gunman committed suicide.
Other than the fact that he is a male, nothing much is known about the gunman. He did not carry any identification documents. Prior to this the university had received threats.
Personally, I feel the way weapons are available in the US is partly to blame for incidents like these. If it is not a terrorist act and I suspect, it is not, then it must be somebody who has a grudge against the university or its citizens. Chances are he is a young male with grievances against the institution for some slight or other.
If weapons were not so easily available, the probability of incidents like this happening would be less.
i heard on the radio that he’s a chinese student just came from china last year & that he was having a fight with his gf then they called the student consel but he shot them both dead before going on a shooting rampage!

Apparently I heard my friend saying that he actually shot twice in the residential area, and 2 hours later he went shooting the students.
He committed suicide? Cos my friend said they did not know whether he commited suicide or he got shot by the police.
