Toddler left to fourteen-year-old baby-sitter’s care in critical condition

SIBU: When a mother left her two-year-old toddler son with his fourteen-year-old cousin, she was relieved to have somebody to babysit the kid. She had no idea her decision could be so wrong. When she came home, the toddler was unconscious and upon examination at the hospital was found to have a fractured skull and bruises on his stomach. How can this happen?

The toddler is now in serious condition in hospital and the boy has been remanded for five days.

The toddler who was allegedly abused when his mother left him with his 14-year-old cousin last Friday, is in critical condition in hospital. The police are involved as the medical examination raised suspicions of physical abuse.

Parents, be careful when entrusting the care of children to under-aged baby-sitters. Anything can go wrong. Once, a ten-year-old arrived in my house to play with my son. As he is bigger, I let them play unsupervised while I was busy preparing lunch. I found them playing with matches. I asked for the lighter and I found three lighters in his pocket.

My heart goes out to the family of this two-year-old toddler. Let us not make the same mistake. Blaming the fourteen-year-old doesn’t help matters. He probably didn’t know a child a child is fragile and not like his usual playmates.

Let us all pray a silent prayer for all the parties involved. Understandably the family is in a
turmoil now.

Update: I am very sad to inform readers the child has passed away. According to unconfirmed reports, it was accidental. The fourteen year old was impatient and pinched the toddler. The toddler fell and some how hit his head against a cupboard.

What have become of the world nowadays. That’s really sad.

What’s wrong with that 14yo, he’s like retarded or what.

If he can do that at 14, imagine what he does next when he’s older.

BB: we have to wait for an official report from the police first.it’s too early to judge :)
