My personal life and weight lifting/gymming

Hello everybody! It has been a great five months and this is my 450th post. Finally mylongkang’s baby is able to earn revenue through ppp. Please link to Celebrityfirst.com. I will definitely link you back. I need the links. :) . To celebrate the occasion, I bought Mrs Bengbeng, Benghui and I new shoes at the Bata Outlet in Ngiu Kee.

I have also bought a Canon Pixma MP160 Photo-all-in-one. It can photocopy, scan and print for a price of RM280.00 with coloured and black ink thrown in. If we detract the price of the ink, the whole gizmo actually costs me only RM140.00 . A pretty cool bargain.

On a personal front, at first I was wavering in terms of direction. I am now quite content to continue mylongkang in its present direction although I welcome feedback from readers. One minus factor from blogging is it cuts from my exercise time. I added a whopping 7kg. Anyway, I have been pumping iron for the past month and recovering my lost form.

There is nothing like a great workout for a sense of euphoria. At the moment I concentrate on the upper body and abs as my ankle is not yet fully recovered from an injury. To feel the muscles tear and break, rebuild and reform. To lift heavier and heavier weights. Facing the challenge and concentrate on breathing..the lifting form. I really enjoy a great workout. Initially I took a pic of myself a month ago and 4kg heavier of a pic of myself with belly visible :) and yesterday I just took another pic of myself 4kg lighter and much reduced belly( neck to waist ). Mrs Bengbeng said it would be crazy to post it on the net hahahahaha.

A tip to regular gym-goers. A break from lifting is great because I can see results from the workout. Perhaps in the past, I had reached a plateau and I needed the break blogging forced me to take. Hahhaa..yesterday, Miss Constantly-tread-Mill touched my abs and chest and said, ” Ni jin bu ” ( meaning I have made progress ). I got such a high to be noticed by her :). In the end I lead her and Miss Shy and Lovely in a session of high energy aerobics/stretching cum yoga ( impromptu thingy ) and we all enjoyed ourselves. I mean I am Bengbeng not an instructor so we had such clean fun..no alcohol..no ciggy but we all had a great time. Oh my God, why do I enjoy all these female attention? We all sweat like crazy. Perhaps it is true what people say about the male mind hahahahahaah.

I still cook on Sundays Mrs Bengbeng’s designated day of rest but my microwave is out of order ( microwave food my forte ) so there have been no food posts of late.

By the way, I am on a crazy diet. In this diet, I eat like crazy in the morning. Have a proper ta pou ( economy rice ) lunch and light meal e.g broth and chicken/fruits and juices for dinner. It helps me sleep better. I have gotten so used to it, if I eat after for example 7.00p.m. I will feel bloated. I am beginning to see glimpses of a six-pack although side handles remain a persistent problem.

Where did I get this crazy idea to write this post and share my life? I don’t know but gym is a part of my life and staying healthy. There is history of medical problems in the family so I am just paying my insurance through exercise. I don’t really believe in supplements. As long as we vary our food, eat adequately… I believe it should be adequate.

    Congrats on reaching the 450th post mark! Seeing that I’m a few hundred posts away from reaching it myself, I’d consider your achievement to be quite the feat! :)

    BB: I saw one like that in Mulu : I have never tried it before :)
