Bengbeng goes to Sungai Petani

I followed Dr Bernard Chan home to Sungai petani. He was remarkably patient but the long jam on the Penang Bridge must have frustrated him. Anyway, later we found out the cause. At least four cars were involved in a pile-up although I believe it was not serious as far as humans were involved. Only damage to vehicles.

In Sungai Petani, we stopped by his club-house. What a nice place to unwind after a long journey on the road. I was shamelessly taking pics and indeed it was a lovely club house and restricted to members although members could bring guests, at least I think so :)

I felt sorely tempted to strip off to my briefs and jump into the pool. It was a warm night and I was wet under my t-shirt. But one side-long glance at Bernard, i knew it would be a social blunder so I kuai kuai and behaved myself hahahaha.

I learned many things about blogging from my mentor that night. This is a shot Bernard taught me how to take, a close-up pic. This is one of Bernard’s many blooms in his garden. The beers i had had clouded my memory a bit so i do not remember the name of the flower..bogonia?

This is one of his more pretty flowers. Bernard is one hell of a nice guy and if these flowers are under his care, I am sure, his patients at the hospital are just as well cared for and happy to have him as their doctor. :)

Bernard, thanks! You have been an absolute pal.
