Bengbeng meets Dr Bernard Chan

Finally I had a chance to meet my Sungai Petani blogger friend, Dr Bernard Chanpenang3
What a nice guy he turned out to be. Perhaps I have been bribed by the delicious nasi kandar dinner he treated me.

It was a lovely evening. Even the nasi kandar guys were all smiles. i thought they would mind my taking the pics but they asked me to take the pics again and they posed properly for me again this time. I am not familiar with this place but I believe it is called Kayu and I could see Bukit Jambul shopping complex near this place although poor Bernard had to drive for a long, long time because of the terrible traffic jam :)

Eat your hearts out those of you who are not in Penang now. The nasi kandar was superb and the lamb was ‘fantastic’!!!

Before leaving for the mainland we stopped at a place fronting Pulau Jerejak. It used to be a colony for lepers but the tide was out. But as you can see, Penang is rapidly developing now.

Yup, Penang it is rapidly developing now (physically). I almost can’t recognize the Penang I used to know.

Just go to kek Lok Si and the penang Hill station..almost overwhelmed by apartments and new developments already. The skyline all over the island is rapidly changing

Aisay man, I was looking forward to meet Dr B too on Saturday. But I was in a rush to attend mass and only meet Pelf (from Terengganu) and couldn’t wait for Dr B to appear. Too bad we didn’t arrange to meet together. Then, there is Kedah, Terengganu, Sarawak and Penang bloggers meet.
