Photohunters: Theme-sweet
The theme for this week is sweet. I chose this hawker by the roadside behind Gama Supermarket in Penang. This supermarket was once a leading supemarket but now has been relegated to a much lower ranking in busy Penang’s retail market.
Back to this guy, he sells sweet soup broth like dishes. His business is always very good for people who need a place to rest their tired feet and taste sweet stuff and at the same time fill the stomach.

A very friendly guy, he told me many stories while I was having his sweet dish. Each serving : Rm1.00
These three pots constitute the entire contents of the food he sells per day.
This dish is called biko moi or a type of bean cooked and then flavoured with coconut milk.
This dish is callled bubur kacang or green beans cooked and then flavoured with sugar and coconut milk.
