The Star reported that Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) webmaster and blogger Nathaniel Tan, 27 was released at 5.15 p.m. today. I am immensely relieved. Four days ago he was remanded. The reason: to facilitate investigations under the Official Secrets Act (OSA).

Nathaniel Tan, is also the secretary to Foundation for the Future president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. According to The Star, it is believed that Nathaniel Tan has in his possession documents important to the police that can help the police in their investigations.

Last Friday, Nathaniel Tan was picked up by Special Branch policemen from Bukit Aman.

That’s great news… but I wonder what happened to others detained under OSA / ISA but not so fortunate to be connected to DSAI, or any politician. Will they be released too?

That unfortunately is a question I am not able to answer :(
