Today being Sunday, no posts to blog so I will share with you what I cooked. I am no chef. I am an idiot and a lazy man when it comes to the kitchen. So everything is very simple. After all, this is not a food blog
hahahahaha. Anyway Sunday is Mrs Bengbeng’s day of rest.

Ingredients: ready made kurma curry sauce, Ayamas drumets, bitter-gourd, an egg. Not in pic : tomatos, big onions

Bitter gourd:
Put a little oil, stir fry some small slices of big onions, then bitter gourd. The key is to fry the bitter gourd on high flame for as short a time as possible to lessen the bitter taste. When almost ready, add a little water and then an egg. Stir fry the egg and the bitter gourd until it is cooked. No need to add salt or any other condiments.

Add oil, fry on low flame until the bottom of chicken pieces are cooked. Overturn the chicken pieces and leave until it is cooked. So simple. That’s what supermarkets are for. I used Ayamas chicken drumets

This is the meal.
Chicken curry kurma: it tasted better when I did it the original way. Using pre-cooked sauce in packets..it is not quite the same.
Left-overs from lunch :
Soup- chicken stock obtained from double boiled method, red dates ( ang cho ) , mushrooms, shredded cabbage dumped in at the last moment, salt according to taste.
Long beans stir-fried with eggs.
I think this is quite a complete meal. If I can cook this, any one can
. When I was in West Malaysia, I noticed, most people have this culture of eating outside almost all the time. There are advantages to home-cooked meals. Economical, clean and lots, lots of dishes to wash hahahahhahaha.

Benghui was too busy at the computer to come over to eat. Any body wants a second hand computer? I must sell it because Benghui is obsessed with the computer nowadays
.
Mrs Bengbeng is also almost always busy at her computer nowadays too. I can’t imagine what life will be like for my family if computers hadn’t been invented
Mrs Bengbeng is now complaining I am getting way over-weight. I definitely need to go on a diet hahaha
