Of fertility, six daughters and well being

Jessie : 35 year old female, plumpish mother of six daughters. Involved in business administrative duties, busy in NGO related activities and possesses a loud voice.

Jessie: Hello, Beng. Call Uncle Beng children.
Children : Uncle Beng (in unison)
Jessie: How are you? I am so busylah ferrying my children around. You can see they are all my very precious daughters. Don’t run. Stop that. Annie, you stop beating Anna now or I will beat you.
Yes, Bengbeng, how is Benghui?

Jessie : God has been kind. God has been over kind. All six children. Luckily I have my in-laws to help me. I am only thirty five. I don’t want any more. But you knowlah Ah Aun ( husband ) . He wants a son. He times it very well. He follows doctor’s instructions to the letter. Hahhhaahah. He is a good lao kong. He read some where about the ovulation method to time our time together to better the chances of getting a son. Every time when I go for the first scan, he goes with me anxiously. When he doesn’t see ‘the thing’ that only boys have he is always so disapppointed.

So, I guess I will have a few more lagi lah hahahahahha. Hey, children, stop that. We are at a busy road. If you don’t stop that I’ll go home and tell you father. Just you wait!!!!

Bengbeng, I got to go. Life is always busy with my half a dozen princesses. Life is wonderful isn’t it Bengbeng? I ended up in life as a mother, businesswomen, warden, discipline master, chauffer, cook and so many more. Do you think they are going to appreciate me when I get older? I will probably be sent to an old folks home or sent to live under a pedestrian bridge somewhere :)
( She pinches the three-year-old’s cheek and smiles )

How many children would you like to have? Will the gender of the child matter to you?

I would like to have three kids. Gender doesn’t matter, but I want them to be cute-cute. If God doesn’t give me kids then… well.. I’ll go get three puppies instead.

when they cry in the middle of the night n wet themselves, they wont b very cute :) but it will a wonderful experience :)

Doesn’t matter how many and what gender as long as they’re all healthy. :)

actually many believe females make better care givers when the parents are old

Jessie is such a bubbly lady with full of energy. I feel so tired for her but I am sure Jessie feels full of life.

See, God gives you as many as you can cope. My kids are already uni age. When my daughter was 8, I wanted another one but my husband said he could not cope with waking up for feeds and changing nappies. Wahahaha….oh, yes, he did all that so that I can have my sleep. :P

your hubby sounds a very nice man :)
