Buffalo Race
The normally quiet town of Lawas became alive when its people turned up to watch the buffalo race ridden by both the young and old. It was a joyous occasion and there were shouts of laughter when some buffaloes went in the wrong direction or didn’t know what to do 
I have been to Lawas before. It is a quite town unless there is a festival going on there. But fishing in Lawas is indeed cool! kekeke

ahh..that brings back the memory,i came from lawas,but since secondary school i studied in miri and now i’m staying in kuching.it’s true lawas is a very quiet town,but the best time is during raya, pesta lun bawang and of course pesta lawas, all people from brunei to sabah will gather there just to celebrate it together with us
i hope to enjoy pesta lawas too soon but it is quite a distance from Sibu
