Cha-cha and rojak sotong

I feel so relieved. The work I have piled up is finally done. So I went to the gym. It would be like any other day except that an aerobics class was on. Only a few of the guys felt like joining in as it seemed a ‘less guy thingy’ to do.

Anyway, one guy started carrying weights in tandem with the rhythm with the music and suddenly before you know it there were guys dancing the cha-cha with the beat of the aerobics music. I *ahem ahem decided to join them.

Charles: Beng, the objective is to dance, not to make noise for the people downstairs.(referring to my elephant like stomping sigh sigh). The music is meant to accompany you so you have to follow the beat. You are dancing, not beating some ancient tribal drum.(the guys all laughed).

It was fun and I finally picked up some steps. Within twenty minutes, most of the guys could dance a semblance of the steps and in simple progression, three SYTs ( sweet young things ) joined us. Although most of the time, I didn’t know which was my left or right foot or where my hands were, it was fun :)

Beats the boredom of carrying weights every day :) .

I felt a little guilty about the whole SYT dancing thingy though and bought some food home. Kampung Bandung ROJAK SOTONG. It is a little like jiu hu eng chai of Penang but totally different. For instance, there is deep fried sweet potatoes, kangkong, sotong or squid, bean curd and the sauce is totally different. The Chinese in Sibu have tried to imitate this dish but have not been able to replicate the sauce. Total cost RM5.00

Ah yes, I also bought this thing sight unseen from a gym lady for no other reason than that she asked me to buy. Sometimes, I find it very difficult to say no. She promised me it would help reduce pain in my leg and that i would save money because i would no longer need to go for a foot massage :)

I don’t think straight guys who are busy trying to dance with SYT’s can be trusted to not make a fool of themselves….tsk tsk

every body is entitled to make a fool of themselves every now and then :)

Thank you, your article brought memories back of Penang to me. Yes I do take Usana Procasamine and find it really good too.

I am an active distributor too of these products.
