RM95.20 Sibu pasar malam purchases all from ads money

I took Benghui to the pasar malam. Before that we had gone to a friend’s housewarming party.

Benghui: That man is so rich. There are so many lights and it is so big. We are so poor.
( Benghui has learned a very important lesson …there are rich and there are poor people in the world )

1buster

We saw this beggar and a busker in the pasar malam. He asked me how much he should give. I told him to give as much as he can afford or feels he wants to. I saw him putting 20 sen into each person’s cup.

dumpling

He wanted this and we bought some meat dumplings here and a bottle of soya bean milk.

pasar-malam

Here he is busy being busy body while Mrs Bengbeng is looking for a brooch.

jagung

He was terribly disappointed when Mrs Bengbeng said it was late and we should not buy these jagung or corn or we would not be able to sleep well…the way he looked at the jagung is as if they were made of solid gold :)

vege

I asked Mrs BB to buy some vegetables from this woman. I pitied her standing there. When Mrs BB went near, the vegetables were already wilting and would last at most a day in the fridge. Conclusion : Mrs BB decided not to buy. She always buys the choicest vegetables as we do marketing only occasionally.

purchases

Today’s trip was to prove a point to Mrs BB. She said blogging cannot earn enough returns to pay for maintainence of a website. Yesterday I earned from my blogs USD28.00 or at approx $1.00=Rm3.40 ; USD28.00 = Rm95.20

I bought all the following for RM95.20 exactly.
1 track suit trousers
2 white shirts
1 pair of sneakers
1 brooch
1 kg of prunes
2 pairs of socks ….. nothing branded of course :)
1 bottle of soya bean and two dumplings.(2 not three because Mrs BB doesnt take pork)

who is benghui’s barber? It is a really nice haircut. also i dont think eating jagong keeps u awake. never heard of that one before. haha. where did ur mrs hear that from? i would buy things to eat at a pasar malam, how come u bought a bottle of soya bean milk instead of fresh ones? fresh ones are so much better, esp the tau foo fah(bean curd)

  5. Bengbeng on 1 September, 2007

here the fresh ones are sold in bottles…the manufactured ones are sold in cans :)
