In the Bengbeng household i am really tired. I hope my mother in law gets well soon and I can continue with my lifestyle . At the moment I am a house-husband which isn’t too bad except with the inclusion of two nephews the responsibility is getting heavier.

“That’s it”, I told Benghui last night. You wake up early tomorrow and do some gardening. He was still watching a Korean series movie Happy Together.
Oh boy, how I regret that statement. At 5.30a.m. , he woke me up. Is there a fire, is mummy sick, is grandma’s leg ok were the first thoughts on my mind. My heart went to fast mode.
Benghui : Daddy, i want to work in the garden.
I thought to myself I started the whole thing so I must see it through. True enough, he worked hard. I tried to put the dog in the cage because Oopi was so excited and tried to give us sneak licks. It resisted all attempts to force it to enter its cage. Benghui took Oopi’s plate and made as if to go to the cage. Oopi went in immediately.
Benghui : You see daddy, mummy always does it like this giggle giggle.
He washed the concrete table and chairs.

I have been stuck at home the whole day. Mrs Bengbeng is out and I have to babysit Benghui. Her mother needs her. Apparently it has something to do with a growth on her leg. But I don’t think it is anything really serious or Mrs Bengbeng would have called me by now.

Korean Movie-Happy Together
School holidays has begun. I have taken Benghui swimming and spent a lot of quality time with him. However he has also spent a lot of time by himself. Finally I had to plug in the television again : literally to get him out of our hair.

I was asked to help out with a youth camp some time ago. We needed a place big enough to accommodate about a hundred people so our choice of venue was limited.
Anyway we settled on a place well known for paranormal phenomena. So to be on the safe side, the organizing committee decided to hold an exorcism the night before the youth camp. Prior to that, in preparing for the camp some of us had encountered sightings.

Buffalo Race
The normally quiet town of Lawas became alive when its people turned up to watch the buffalo race ridden by both the young and old. It was a joyous occasion and there were shouts of laughter when some buffaloes went in the wrong direction or didn’t know what to do
Something happened again today. Mrs Bengbeng and i were tired after work today and took a short nap. Benghui tried to be considerate or more likely he just wanted to imitate what i do. He tried to fix the sockets for his computer all by himself.
