We went to Bintangor or Binatang as it was once called. Due to the negative nature of its name it was then changed to Bintangor. It is about an hour drive away from Sibu

This week’s theme is original. This city is called Kuching or literally cat in Malay. It is original because there are cat images all over the place. There is even a museum dedicated to cats.
In this era of mass tourism, replicas and copies are everywhere. But not this throne. This is an original imported to Sarawak about a century ago. Even then it was already an antique.

I was having my regular meal of noodles when the lady told me she would be raising her prices soon. She said she couldn’t help it. The price of raw noodles have gone up. So have the price of eggs, chicken, oil, and other ingredients which she uses for her cooking.

I had an unexpected visitor today when this handsome critter landed on my trousers. It aroused quite a lot of attention as none of us present had ever seen it before. It has a head like the head of a match stick but no distinguishable eye or mouth parts.
