Happy Birthday, Bengbeng
When I was young, birthdays were a looked-forward-to luxury. It was a day when I was the king for a day even if it was all internalization. I used to daydream my birthday would be celebrated by at least some one else in this world.
Imagine these figures are saying, ” Wow..it is Bengbeng’s birthday ”
This is what I got for this year. Never mind that I had to pay for it from my own pocket. Colorful jelly and durian chocs. The chocs cost cost Rm26.90 per packet.
They tasted great.
These are two orphan chicks on their way to a new home thanks to Bengbeng.
However I did receive birthday greetings from Hawksmoor and bibik. Bless them.
Hawksmoor will writing book reviews whenever the mood swings him. He has been a reader and has kindly consented to use this blog 
to write his book reviews.
Who is he? Hawksmoor loves literature, and spends his day glued to books. Eclectic in taste, he especially loves horror and magic-realist fiction, and aspires one day to be a character in a novel himself.
Before I forget, to Go Teow Lo ( Macallum St - 5th Street/Penang ), who shares the same birth date with me, “Happy Birthday and may you be young always. God bless you and your family”.
