Of migraine, headache, stress and pull-hair ( tarik rambut )

Next time you suffer from migraine, a headache or generally feel too stressed, don’t automatically look for a pain killer or panadol. There are many ways to solve the problem.

headache

You do not need to bear with it. It is very easy to cure it the traditional way. One way is to tarik rambut or pull your hair. It is that simple. You will feel the relief instantly. Most of us suffer from ‘wind’ and this helps to release the wind from our body.

After each time you pull the hair, there is an instant pop sound if the person is not feeling well.

pull-hair1

i saw the technique at work. Trust me, it works.

pull-hair2

After giving treatment according to pantang or adat ( tradition and custom ), the healer has to rub his/her hand, shake it to avoid being contaminated by the sick and then touch the patient with the patient’s money to avoid feeling sick him/her self.

Try it some time.

I did that before. Introduce by a Foochow fren from Sarikei. It really works and feel so much better after it.

Actually i first noticed it from Melanaus

Does it “work” because the hair gets pulled out too hard that it’s past the pain barrier, leaving your head in a state of numbness?

    Galliventer, you have got it!

    It works by “counter-irritation”.

Producing an “irritation” strong enough to mask the other pain.

    yr explanation makes sense

I’ve seen this being done, but perhaps you’d need to have someone who knows which part of the head should be pulled - I tried it sometimes but all I get is more pain! LOL
