Photohunters: Weekly theme-plastic

photohunters2mo1

Plastics are slowly replacing everything in the home. We try to recycle everything but eventually they pass their shelf-life and continue to litter our environment.

noah's-ark

These are some of my son’s made-in-China plastic toys. As he has outgrown them, one day in a burst of creativity he lined them in a small ledge on the wall. I have been too lazy to remove them since. It highlights the stairway landing

Since we are both working, we can’t always cater to the whims of our child. We put tit-bits and simple food he can eat or drink in simple plastic containers that won’t break when they fall. When he is hungry he just comes here and looks for something. We encourage him to eat as he is under-size for his age. Occasionally when he is particularly well-behaved, we put a chocolate or delicious cookie here to entice him to behave better.

Behave well, and better tit-bits will be available :)

Have a great weekend every body.

The animals are cute. Makes me think of Noah’s Ark! As much as I don’t like plastic, it does make a safe container for children to handle.

Mine is up, too. Pollywog Creek’s Plastic Photo Hunt
