Of dengue, curi makan mooncake and a lazy weekend
I was supposed to go to Dalat but an uncle came to visit grandmother in Sibu. At the same time, he stopped by to visit us.

Benghui enjoyed his company for a while.
But he was soon distracted..no…no..no there are no rats in my house, just that Benghui has been naughty and curi curi nibble on the mooncakes. He knew Uncle was here so I would not scold him

This is another new surprise in my garden. I thought it was a form of cactus until I went to look for pics in my front garden. Perhaps it is cactus. But the flower is unusual to me.

Encouraged I looked around and found another surprise. The plant looks like a single fat stalk of grass. I hadn’t even noticed it until today. I am sure it must be a common flower but I don’t know its name.

There have been some reported cases of dengue fever in Subang Jaya. I just want to praise God my friend has recovered some and his condition much improved. In the mean time please keep our homes and surroundings free of breeding places for mosquitoes.
