Come look and tell me what it is.
I had an unexpected visitor today when this handsome critter landed on my trousers. It aroused quite a lot of attention as none of us present had ever seen it before. It has a head like the head of a match stick but no distinguishable eye or mouth parts.
Anybody knows anything about this creature? Have you seen it before?
At first I was worried it might bite but it didn’t. It didn’t seem to be able to fly but it was able to jump vertically. Very powerful jump too. Its lower part was so beautiful. More beautiful than any piece of man-made cloth.
To end this post, a pic of my lunch. Nasi lemak with tebaloi ( sago based biscuits), sontong ( cuttle fish deep fried ), nuts and anchovies in gravy sauce, half an egg, cucumber, piece of salted fish and a piece of cucumber. Lots of stuff for Rm2.40 don’t you think? Only in Sibu ![]()

its probably just an alien species visiting the earth to harvest some testicles
If that is so, it is an honor for me to b selected but no thank you hahahahahhahahah
OMG! You dare to hold that insects..
Alot of food just RM2.40.. wah where can I get at KL ?!

It looks like a cucumber being cut into half though..
if it is a cucumber, i dont want to eat it hehe
LOL at Ramanan’s comment.
Those species of praying mantis found at butterfly farm. Don’t know the name.
oh, so it is a form of praying mantis. it landed on my lap..is it an omen i will get super-rich hahahaha..a mantis praying for me hehe
Is it some kind of grasshopper with abnormal growth? Hmm… I am not good in Biology and I hate insects.
i don’t know. the head is abnormal
if it is a praying mantis,it makes sense for it to not to have a head…..female praying mantis eats the head of their love mates once they are done mating…
cool.. i didnt know this. thanks
What? I see Nasi Lemak!
Only in Sibu??
Thats a dissapointment.
