It lived a ripe old age until it died last year. They are sure adorable. But due to our hot local weather, tey are rather prone to ear infections coz their ears droop down with thick hair. But the thing about this bird is that they take flight too slow that accidents always happen because they can't fly high and fast enough before an oncoming car.. However I advice you do some research on the dog breed first before buying, so you know that the breed is right for your lifestyle and personality. For me... the best breed is the Shih Tzu :) Think about it a few weeks more, and see if you still have the urge to get a doggy :) Well, if there is someone at home all the time, then I’m sure you can handle another doggy.
