Sibu Bloggers Meet 2007
For the first time in history, a bloggers’ meet was organized in Sibu. It was easy as the number interested was small. Many bloggers prefer to remain anonymous.
It was great, clean fun. Altogether there were seven of us, jam, monkey wong, bengbeng,alvinchong, clare, benghui, and thomas
We had hoped for crabs and ordered 2 kg but it seems crabs were not in season due to the holiday season.
We had pork-leg, a Sibu delicacy.

Ang siow tau fu I think this Foocow dish is called.
This is a noodle dish cooked the native way with lots of spices and chillies. sweat..phew …spicy ..delicious. There was also a bowl of sea cucumber soup cooked the Foochow way but these ^%%$*)( bloggers were so hungry they finished it off before I could adjust the camera settings 
After the dinner, we adjourned to the Pinnacle, near Farley Supermarket for a blogging workshop. Expenses courtesy of monkey. We discussed Page Rankings, Advertisements, Host Providers ,and Photograph taking for macro shots, indoors and close-ups. The topic of hostile comments also cropped up and was discussed.
Benghui was well at home with the blogging terms we used. He understood everything. He told monkeywong,” You are so suai ( hensem ) and monkeywong positively turned red. Benghui told me Clare is very beautiful. But he doesn’t like her. I asked him why. ” I am not a big boy yet”, he replied innocently. Clare almost fell off her chair laughing.
The lone rose among all the thorns in front of my ice-cream.
It was a successful event. It was also a family affair. The only regret is that some of us were not there because they are not in Sibu at the moment. It is like Clement said, Once there is a first time, there is a second and third time. There can only be one first time 
. Today was it. It was a great day
I would definitely meet if nothing else, for the food! Kekekeke…

benghui did learn a lot from bengbeng, having a big sweet mouth all the time

it was a wonderful moment..getting close to a Borneo monkey…was a little afred too u know how unpredictable monkeys can be…but u were great, everybody was great and it was a great bloggers meet

Wow..I never knew Monkey Wong was in Sibu! Funny, always thought he was in KL..why ah?
Anyway, I also prefer a small blogger’s meat, eh! I meant, MEET! HAHAHA..the midin with belacan looks HEAVENLY! Smaller, easier to chat. Big..too chaotic!
next time we can make it bigger but in Sibu the numbers r jus not there
