Photohunters: Theme-Pink

photohunters2mo1

The theme this week is pink. I raided the house and garden and the following are the only pinks I could find.

pink-bourgainvillea

My bourgainvillea

pink-flower

I don’t know name of this flower

pink-baju-kurung

And Mrs Bengbeng’s dress. I suppose when we blog in English, bloggers from photohunters may not realize the cultural difference. I think this dress of hers will surprise a few.

It is a two-piece suit called a baju kurung. The top is a long sleeved blouse while the bottom in similar material is a sarong or if you are unfamiliar with the word, is a loose skirt. It is very comfortable, modest and cooling.

Have a great weekend every body. :)

kekeke, modeling in the baju kurung ? to be frank i haven’t seen a pink baju kurung. maybe i am too used to the common white and blue baju kurung used as school uniform -_-”

How come Mrs Bengbeng wears a baju kurung????

It is cool, comfortable and affordable. :) She has the height so it looks ok on her. You can sit easily without worrying about anything :)

Lovely flowers. This pink theme I am not so hardworking wor. You guys make me feel guilty liow.

Anyway, what I would like to say is that I really love to wear baju kurung. The last time I tried to buy one, the boutique was asking for MR$300 (cheapest one there). Wahliow…..no thank you!

that is expensive. wat u see here cost Rm60.00. it is made of a kind of material cool, not so soft as t cling on to the body and changes color slightly at different angles…a thai fabric.

Bengbeng, will u get a set of pink Baju Melayu for yourself, since your wife has one set of pink baju kurung? I have seen some of the Malay guys wearing it. Kekkeke.. but i think u won’t :D

I have skinny legs and the soft material doesn’t look good on me. i wanted to buy the top but u b amazed how expensive it is here in Sibu.female baju kurung is cheap though

  22. jmb on 27 October, 2007
