I met my ex today- my first love story
I am so busy today. I met my ex today and Mrs Bengbeng is conveniently out of the way 
. I will tell you more later if I can find the time.
Update:
I received a telephone call today to go to the airport to pick up an old friend. What a pleasure it is! It has been years since I have seen her. She is here because her son is in Sibu today.
I look at her. I look at her more closely. Little has changed. Other than the heavy jewelry draped all over her, she still looks almost the same.
I recall years ago every body thought we were meant for each other. We were both at the beginning of our careers. I was very shy then. I still am very shy except when I am hidden behind the key boards of a computer.
I finally plucked the courage to invite her to accompany me on my rounds of Hari Raya visits. To my surprise she agreed. We were both living in a small seaside town then. I arrived at her house, hair neatly combed centre parting. You could say the parting was straight as a ruler.
She came out of her house in her brand new pink sleeveless dress and black stilletto and climbed up behind me on my humble Honda-70. Inwardly I cursed myself for not washing my bike earlier. I was so proud. Many of the kampong folks in their raya best smiled as they saw Bengbeng and Wei Mee together for the very first time. I felt very proud.
After a few minutes, I felt some motion behind me. I didn’t stop. I just assumed she needed to be comfortable. Then I felt a tug on my shirt. ” Beng, Beng, ” she said. I was so happy. “This is the moment I have been waiting for,” I told myself.
“You know huh Beng, my my u know ah..my shoe , it is over there.” she said. I looked back and true enough the kampung folks were holding her black stilletto. It had slipped off her foot. Nobody dared to laugh. She was so embarrassed. i couldn’t afford a car and she refused to go out again on a motor-bike.

i been out of the house since 530 this morning. it is 2215 now and i just come home. i just told her the story. she just laughed maybe more than you all bcoz she knows me and she knows her.

Sometimes it is good to reflect on the past and then one thanks God for the spouse one is married to. I speak for myself and I thank God all the time for all the broken relationships that went so wrong in my life ONLY because God’s plan was to give me a man who really loves and cares for me and treats me like a queen.
