Of ghosts,spirits and lost souls
Many do not believe in the existence of lost souls. Some say they are a figment of one’s imagination. Some say they are stories meant to scare the weak in mind and spirit.
Today I met a man. A very strong man. He told me a story I wish to share with you all. Be disbelieving or be skeptical or believe in it: it is up to you.
Character : A father of five, late forties, successful businessman in the textiles business. 1.58m and 75kg.
Michael : I have a house I seldom use in Kuching. I bought it for a bargain. I knew it had some history but I didn’t care nor am I bothered about it and until today I still don’t care.
Last month I went to the house. I opened the front door and immediately felt a spirit rushing out the front door. I was in its way. My hair stood on end. I could feel its panic but I was determined not to exhibit any fear.
I walked calmly to the toilet. I peed and at the same time i cursed it aloud. I told it that I was now the rightful owner of the house. After spending so much on the place, I didn’t want to lose the house.
I suddenly realized the sounds that came and went in the house from evening onwards from day one. The toilets would flush by themselves. There was a treadmill that would have sounds like someone was using it but the sound would stop just before I reached the room.
Sounds of someone using the tap. Opening and closing of doors at irregular hours. I called the neighbor over. I asked him to flush his toilets, turn on the taps and bang his doors. I couldn’t hear anything.
It was confirmed then that it was from my own house. I believe that the river is a dirty place. As my house is by the river and is usually vacant it had been inhabited by some lost souls.
I then decided to bang the doors before I entered each time. I cursed every time before I entered the house to frighten off the spirits. But the sounds at night continued.
My wife asked me to conduct exorcism rites at the place. I decided instead to sell off the place. I got a good price too from an investor from outside Kuching.
