Benghui has a pretty girl friend disregards tuition
Benghui has been to special holiday class for almost a week. It costs RM130 a month but the class is so big about 40 plus and the poor teacher has no space to move around. So, the teacher will give them work to do and they do it. It works fine for everybody except Benghui because of his poor command of Mandarin.
Then they pass up the work and Benghui has x marked on his answers. I guess the system is suitable for brilliant and bright students but not for Benghui. The poor overworked teacher stuck in a corner just cannot reach him to teach 
There is a shortage of tuition teachers since the education ministry decided to limit teachers giving tuition to four hours a week. Many teachers have stopped giving tuition. The fees have gone up. The businessmen who set up tuition centres get a windfall and the students get cramped classes and inexperienced teachers.
That doesn’t seem to worry him at all. He doesn’t really want to go to tuition at all now. He has been busy playing with my nephews. Basically they are too big for him so he has cornered an Ah Moi almost his age. Benghui has excellent taste, don’t you think? 
RM130 per month!? and the class is so pack that teacher can’t really pay attention to students, that’s so expensive.
welcome to life in Sibu..the classroom is very small. so there is limited space to move. the fee is for the privilege to be there. anyway after playing with ah Moi until late last night, he couldn’t wake up this morning

few tuition teachers r available…government policy indirectly to discourage excellence, i think hehe jus kidding…but it has that effect. the market is saturated with inexperienced ppl with no qualifications in education.

Good! At least it may help to relieve the stress and pressure!!! Gosh! Holidays are for rejuvenating, relaxing…!!! I had boys in Form 5 like walking time bombs and when I talked to them, they’d break down and cry…sobbing till their shirts were wet with their tears!!! Boys!!! I wonder how all their kiasu parents can be so insensitive to their children’s feelings!!! I’ve SO many shocking stories to tell but I don’t think anybody will listen…!!!

The best tuition is where there are few in the class with high chance for the teacher to do one on one.
Just buy games or tv shows for him to watch, the ones that are educational yet interesting to him…You’d be amazed how kids learn when they are interested. But then, sometimes you need to force ‘em. That’s why discipline is so important.

RM130 per month!!! I had 3 different tuition classes for that price in secondary school! Maybe I can give English, BM and maths tuition during the holiday and charge RM100 each, can earn lots you know *starts counting money*
chinese tuition 2 hrs a week in sibu for young kids is rm100 a month..if less than 15 kids will not start class
