Beauty queens every where you turn. The people of Sibu are stunned by the presence of beauties from all over the world. Who will win the coveted crown of Miss Tourism Pageant 2007. There are so many lovely and charming ladies wooing the hearts of the local people as they stroll through town enjoying the local sights.

It will be a tough choice to make. Miss Hungary seems confident. Her smile is dazzling and her friendliness warmed many hearts. She also took the opportunity to enjoy the sun and generally to get a tan while she is here. I first noticed her when she said hello to me. Yes, she said hello first .Miss Serbia is also a stunner.

Super fit Miss Australia is a perfect tourism ambassador and invited us to visit Australia. Miss Ukraine, and Miss Brazil are charming. Miss Singapore and Miss Macao are courteous and friendly. Miss Macao is singled out for her charm and her grace. The local folks of course are rooting for local foochow lass Penelope Ling.

I have heard but it cannot be confirmed that they will be in Cafe Cafe tonight.

There are so many more but I am not sure which countries they represent .It will be difficult for the judges to decide who will win the crown and the other subsidiary crowns. But one thing is certain, they will bring back wonderful memories of their stay in Sarawak. This pageant will also put Sibu on the international map. Tomorrow they will leave for Miri. Miss Hungary in particular is keen to visit the Mulu Caves. The contestants will also visit the Sarawak Cultural Village in Kuching.

We hope Miss Singapore will make known Sibu as a tourism destination spot as it is so near. Enjoy your stay here girls and spread the word about Sarawak as a tourism destination.
