Of toilets, labour, cementing and tiling
i woke up early and went to work. The weather was a little downcast and I expected it to rain. Then the contractor called and said they needed entry to my house. Mrs Bengbeng had gone to the market and Benghui had gone for tuition. Then I couldn’t leave any more. Another day of not working.

I have discovered the power of money. You just pay wages and people are willing to do all sorts of stuff for you. Within minutes my front lawn was like a war-zone. It is wonderful. Maybe I should be more ambitious from today onwards.
I didn’t have to do a single thing except send small prayers that it wouldn’t rain.
it wasn’t any better inside the house. This is the kitchen window. Notice the film of sand and cement on every surface. It is made noticeable by the shaft of sunlight filtering in through the window.

This is the iiks! toilet. I have had the floor tiles removed.
Another distasteful pic. The toilet with the sink removed. I had the idea of nailing unused rags over the toilet door entrance to reduce dust and dirt in the atmosphere and in the house. It worked
