furniture in garden Furniture in garden

Mrs Bengbeng is on the warpath again. I am so glad she has already gone off to work. I moved some of the furniture outside to the garden. Notice the curtain rails. The thought of washing it never crossed our minds. Didn’t realize it could get so dirty. Because it is so high, we never saw it.

ceiling Stripped ceiling

I stripped the ceiling. Almost had a nasty incident when the fan almost dropped. I was propping it up with a hand while trying to remove it. I never realized it was so heavy or I was so weak. It came down with the wood so I almost lost my balance on the ladder.

ceiling boards The ceiling boards

I have a deal with a contractor where for a discount I remove all the furniture myself, the ceiling boards, the wooden frame, the wirings, the curtain rails and he does the rest. Of course, it makes the house a mess. Mrs Bengbeng wants it to be done. We are both agreed on that. She however hates the mess. Spent half an hour looking for a test pen. :(

DSCN6488 The fan’s motor cover

In removing the fan I dropped this :( However it fell on the ceiling boards and I don’t think it is damaged… at least I hope so.

dining table

I tried to move this dining table. It refuses to be moved. My advise to all house owners. Never buy heavy furniture. After assembly it will sit there forever.

dining table leg Dining table leg

I remember it took three men to carry a leg down from the lorry. The guy who sold it to me said the legs are actually trunks of trees. I gave up. I could try pushing it but it would not be able to go through the front door and would damage the floor. Guess the contractor would have to do his work more carefully. That is all I can do.

Tada….. my future multi-level shelves..a future project.

Dismantling things should be easy. I think later I should talk to my contractor about me dismantling the house and he builds it later. LOL

  2. Bengbeng says:

it is dangerous too. u got to be careful about the electrical wiring anf nails all over the place not to mention worry of the wood breaking the tiles. as you can see i dont have tiles per se but the type used in the 80s. it is very hardy n tough. so far no damage.

Any trouble with termites in your area? Where I live, they can easy eat a timber frame house from the inside out resulting in expensive damage.

there could be termites problem..the new frame will be iron
