Photohunters: Light

christmas greeting card

Merry Christmas from Mr and Mrs Bengbeng and son, Benghui.

The theme for this week is light. This week I highlight a Christmas procession around my town. In conjunction with the event, there was a Christmas tree decorating competition.

switching on light

here we see the respected politician pressing on the LIGHT switch.

With light and not darkness, the Christmas trees looks totally transformed.

christmas spirit

Light changes the atmosphere into a fairy land.

christmas lights

Clever use of light to highlight this Christmas tree made up of balls painted gold.

Christmas has become a time to be jolly, buying presents and Santa Claus. Put CHRIST back into CHRISTmas! Christ is the LIGHT of the world, so think of the Christmas LIGHTs as representing Him. Think of giving Xmas presents as representing the Three Wise Men/Magi bearing gifts for Baby Jesus…and people usually put a STAR or an angel at the top of the Xmas tree - the Star of David or the angel that appeared to the shepherds when Christ was born. A BLESSED AND HOLY CHRISTMAS, everybody and may the blessings shower upon u all throughout the New Year, 2008.

P.S.: I’m not one of those holier-than-thou Christians but there are certain things taught to me from young that live on in my heart. Teach your children well.

U b Benghui’s god father n teach him the good values..i am not very successful at the moment. if he desn’t listen u jus lie down on him hahahah
