For this week, I present my newly acquired orchids. I have been receiving a lot of advice onhow to maintain these orchids. I have heard they are a little ‘ fragile ‘ , need to be kept from direct sunlight, sprayed with water every few days only etc etc etc. Fortunately they is still surviving.
It becomes a burden as they are gifts from a very dear old friend who used to roam around the long houses with me and followed me every where around Borneo. His family protected me when I was just a silly young youth. I am still silly I guess but not young nor a youth now 
.

Those are beautiful orchids. I have found that orchids are tougher than I thought. I hope yours will survive for a long time.

Flower lovers are meticulous. You must be one of them.
Used to have orchids like that. But with my black thumb, these all died along with other flowering plants I thought I could grow. Sigh.

My orchids almost never survive past 6 months
Hi, I love flowers too but never had the experience to look after orchid. I thought it was easy compared to other flowers as orchids are wild flower and the resistance are much more higher..Anyway, have a Blessed Christmas!

Beautiful orchids. They really are very sensitive. My mom used to have a lot, but when we moved to a building she had to let go of her orchids.
