Gardening on Christmas Day

Some friends including Suituapui wanted to visit me on Christmas Day. Llittle did he know my house is fully decorated for Christmas with live wires, no electricity etc etc haha.

Decided to clear up and trim the garden. Benghui hung around and Mrs Bengbeng admonished him,”Go inside the house immediately. There are mosquitoes around.” He preferred to be helpful and pretended not to hear her. i don’t know if this is a good trait or not but he was a great help to me.

“Daddy why we waste money buying fruits when in our garden we just let it rot?”, he asked. Sometimes we ‘forget’ to go to the garden .

To prove his point, in a minute he had picked these fruits. A few more seconds later, Mrs Bengbeng came out and insisted he go into the house. The ‘mosquitoes’. So good fortune him, here I am still cutting the grass and pulling weeds: and him leaving me all alone. Probably it doesn’t matter to her if the mosquitoes suck me dry as long as Benghui is left alone :)

Don’t look at me like that. Today is a public holiday. Make good use of it. Plant vegetables over there. Anything that can earn money. Every morning go across the river, harvest fruits and plant vegetables. You can be back in three hours. Don’t waste time blogging. Blogging is a waste of time.

I guess she woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. I was not there as I was awake early painting the downstair toilet :( Another day in our lives. Bengbeng, Amy and Benghui. Sometimes I wonder how my life would be like if I could change places with you all for a day or two. See how it is like :)

And today is Christmas Day. I wonder how Uncle Dee and Uncle Andy pass through the day. I bet it is no where near this at all :( Merry Christmas Uncle Dede, Auntie KK, Uncle Andy and all those who sent sms, emails and comments wishing us a merry Christmas. .
