DIY Hanging up curtains
This post is about DIY curtains for the house. First of all you need a curtain rod and thingies for the curtain hooks
These are curtain hooks.
This is a pic of a curtain with curtain hooks. It will look better if you pleat it a little to give it a fuller look.
This is how I fixed the curtain brackets. The curtain brackets are basically just places for the curtain rod to rest upon.
This is the final result. However this is only the inner layer. It is what is called the daytime curtains. There will be another set of curtain for night-time. More of that later. 
You can try it. It is simpler than you think. All you need is a drill. Or if you have a wooden window frame, all you need is a screwdriver.
