Lighting, interior painting and ceiling fans
Today has been a horrible day. What a way to end the year. Really felt like packing my bags and leave . ( playing the role of a drama queen to the hilt
)
I discovered that when we turned on the fan, the qypsum board would wobble and eventually it cracked after a few minutes. I called the contractor over to check and he found the root of the problem. The hook for the fan had not been screwed directly to the beam hence when it was turned on, it was in a precarious position. Even dangerous. After some frantic phone calls, repairs were made at no extra costs.
As I was busy painting and doing the electrical lights thingy, I cooked only steamed pak tin fish, scrambled eggs and some simple soup. Mrs Bengbeng wasn’t too happy with my choice as she said quite rightly this type of fish is dangerous for children as there are many bones.
The new lights cost me a bundle: Rm110 per set and the down lights RM17.00 each.
I couldn’t bargain the price any lower. This is the wall after the undercoat. I hung up the painting for cam whoring purposes. Tomorrow there is some more work.
