Old people do not want to die in the hospital or old folks’ home. PERIOD.

Parents, especially mothers, take care of the babies. Irregular feeding times through the night, endless urinating and pooing… When they put the infants on the pot, nothing! The moment they put on the pampers, out it comes! Some even have the tendency to vomit for no obvious reasons. And imagine the anxiety when they fall sick.

Considering all these therefore, it is only fair that children should take care of their parents when they grow old and not send them off to nursing homes. Of course, if you’re the type of parent who dump your kids at a babysitter or leave them with the maid, as they say, now…what’s the title of that Justin Timberlake song…”What goes around, comes around!”

Personally, I envy those who just drop dead or die in their sleep. No need to live too long but of course, I hope to live long enough to see my daughter graduate and get settled nicely and securely; as a parent, that is my responsibility.

God works in mysterious ways, elvinado. But let not that blind you to what virtue there is…for when u do good, you will be blessed, if not now, then later. “Blessed are those who suffer now, they shalt see God.”

Good point there, forgot about that part when i wrote my comment in the last post. Parents suffered alot when their children were small (and sometimes even till they’re adults) so i guess it’s only fair if that the children take care of their parents the same way. Hmm, but it is still kind of hard when they have jobs and other responsibilities. Dilemma, dilemma.

    BYE!

p.s. A maid perhaps? In fact, that’s a cheaper alternative. Just make sure the maid treats them well
