Dragon fruit orchard, Sibu
It has been a great morning. We visited the Planters Harvest fruit orchard. It was a beautiful place. The air was fresh. To reach there I estimated we drove about 16 km from Sibu.
The dragon fruit tastes great It is planted naturally and the plants looked very healthy to me 
The dragon fruit has long been believed to have the power to improve digestion, reduce cholesterol level and high blood pressure. It is also believed to be able to neutralize toxic substances such as heavy metals.
Planters Harvest Sdn Bhd distributes dragon fruit all over Sarawak. The market is good. I noticed too string of light bulbs all over the orchard. I also noticed the fruits are most and biggest near the bulbs. Perhaps that is why my dragon fruit has never fruited.
At the end of the tour, the management treated us to some Thai durians, cempedaks and dragon fruit. It was all fresh as it was just harvested. I bet any reader would love to have been in my shoes this morning.
there is an organic dragon fruit park near my house in johor as well. i think the dragon fruit farm is impressive, the name is zhen xin, they have some of their vege selling in the supermarket. and i lurrrrve their purple color dragon fruit! it is just so good! i bet it was fun to see the baby dragon fruits hanging on the trees
I love to eat Dragon Fruit once in a while. I mean a slice in a while. But if there are too much, mmmm not my taste.
That’s dem lotsa dragon fruits! I love dragon fruits too bit it’s a bit pricey though.
How much they cost now? The last time I bought is like back 2 years ago when I was still studying and it was like RM 7.00 for 2 biji.
I love dragon fruits ,but the white ones.But it is so costly here in Malaysia! Was in Vietnam,bought 6 big ones (really big)from a street pedlar for 30,000 dongs,which is like RM8! It was very sweet and juicy. I wonder why it is so expensive here.
to flower n bear big fruits in M’sia they need to be near lighted bulbs at night…and need much fertilizer
16km in which direction? That would be a good place to bring visitors to Sibu. Why no pic of u eating the fruit???
