lady driver

Character : late 20s female..drives a Kelisa, Hi Lux and Camry occasionally….best described as gorgeous in a discrete manner, no loud clothing or over-done make up
Height: 1.57m, weight 53kg

Look at the male driver. Male drivers are all the same. Put them behind a steering wheel and they think they are king of the road. They honk, they make obscene gestures when things don’t go their way. What is their big hurry?

Income-tax refund, my stocks in the KLSE appreciate :)

tax refund

I couldn’t believe it. The postman brought two letters bearing good news. A few months back I went to LHDN inquiring about my account and my account balance. I received a cheque from the income tax department today :) . Out of the blue. I was expecting bad news like I was overdue on something or other. Should be enough to pay all my credit card bills :)

Old people do not want to die in the hospital or old folks’ home. PERIOD.

Parents, especially mothers, take care of the babies. Irregular feeding times through the night, endless urinating and pooing… When they put the infants on the pot, nothing! The moment they put on the pampers, out it comes! Some even have the tendency to vomit for no obvious reasons. And imagine the anxiety when they fall sick.

Photohunters : Important

photohunters2mo1

As we advance in age, the body that has served us so well in the past starts to act up. The mind wants to do this and that but the body just won’t obey or is unable to obey at maximum efficiency.

It is important for us to respect the older folks especially those living in old folks home. In Malaysia, to live in an old folks home is a tell tale sign that this person has become a burden to society which is sad and they have then been placed in old folks home.

It is important for NGOs to care for their welfare and help them in any way they can be it in spiritual consolation, monetary assistance, or in kindness or simply attention and time.

How to keep a relationship alive

Guest blogger Suituapui on 17 January, 2008

How do you keep the music playing?
How do you make it last?
How do you keep the song from fading too fast?
How do you lose yourself to someone?
and never lose your way?
How do you not run out of new things to say?
And since we’re always changing,
how can it be the same?
And tell me how year after year,
you’re sure your heart will fall apart
each time you hear her name.
I know the way I feel for you
it’s now or never.
The more I love, the more that I’m afraid
that in your eyes, I may not see forever..
forever…

If we can be the best of lovers,
yet be the best of friends,
if we can try with every day
to make it better as it grows,
with any luck, then I suppose,
the music never ends.

(Lyrics from the song by James Ingram & Patti La Belle)

Sibu Hockien dirty joke

This is for adults 18 years and above. Be forewarned. Proceed at your own risk. It contains vulgar colorful language in the Hockien dialect. The person who told me is my good friend and a former ranking body builder in the state.

A woodcutter and his wife led a frugal existence. One day the farmer met an old man who had fallen into a ditch. The poor starving farmer pitied the old man and gave him his food.

Marriage is for keeps

chinese new year sign

Another day is almost over. I was up late mulling over some issues with Mrs Bengbeng. The day has been uneventful. Take it as an issue of faith, the power of prayer , the resilience of the human spirit or simply the strength inherent in a human being to survive. The crisis in which I find myself a reluctant and unwilling participant would have resolved itself by tomorrow and I am keeping my fingers crossed it will have a positive conclusion.
