Sickness, medicine and mystery of the returned camera
This has been a bad year for me. First there was the fortune cookie which implied I had no luck.
I have been sick for almost nine days. Nothing earth shattering or frightening. Just a lot of discomfort and some pain. I have been to see the doctor twice. On my last trip, he made a joke about me being caught in the rain. I wasn’t in the mood so I didn’t laugh. He was very business like again after that (: One just doesn’t feel in the mood to joke when one’s head is about to burst or if one has been deprived of sleep for days.
Life is no fun being dictated by the clock and the medicine. Every four or five hours after taking the medicine I would feel lousy implying that I need to take medicine again.
The good doc gave me some medicine inluding some sleeping pills and for the first time in a week I have been to able to catch up on my sleep. But no antibiotics were given so I am being treated for symptoms only. My good fren Uncle Dee who got it before me has had it for more than three weeks already. Guess i still have a long way to go. Poor Benghui too has got it from me, I think 
Then there was the theft of my camera. Incidentally after making a fuss and scene over it, the camera reappeared in the most unlikely of places. My theory is that the person who did it had second thoughts. I am very sure I had not lost it because Mrs BB and I had searched for it there before. It reappeared when there was no one in the office just like it had disappeared in the first place. I do not believe in ghosts of this nature..
This particular person did not realize some shots were taken not by me. It was still in the memory card. Probably the kids were playing with it or something. Anyway, from the pics taken, I have a vague idea of who did it. But it is best to keep quiet over the issue. The problem is that I have a new camera now which is redundant.

Weather has not been too good lately…gua pun deman. A visit to the GP for some cough mixture, pills for sore throat and antibiotics and I am poorer by RM70. Feeling better but the throat is still scratchy.

The person who took your camera must have lost some sleep…so he/she brought it back, so that can sleep better after that.

Nyonya penang, thanks for visiting. I missed wishing u a happy chinese new year. My doctor charged me Rm21.00 only. last time I was in Penang, for a minor ailment at an ordinary clinic i was charged Rm35.00. That was years ago. So in some ways, things in Sibu r not too bad.
Che-cheh : a real thief would not do that. i would consider it a person who has conscience but not proficient in photography.

sorry to hear about the long illness . maybe its Someone’s way of getting u to slow down and listen. the return of the camera is a good indication that Someone is watching over u..

Wah, your camera turned up? Actually, your camera is a bit like mine, same brand (7mp) but I am also thinking of changing camera. But for now, ‘mei yeow chien’ and I need new laptop too. Again, ‘mei yeow chien’.
