two red parrot fishred parrot

One day after I shifted my Taiwan red parrot fish inside the house, they seem so happy already. They are not so timid too. As you can see they are happily swimming even with me taking a video of them. I was considering putting a decorative concrete centre-piece for them to play with for example : a tree trunk or some concrete structure but when I went to ask, the price was too expensive.

I settled for some bricks from my garden. It worked. They are happily swimming in between and around the bricks. I just might buy another six more red parrots. Money…money………money :) … nothing in life is free except true love? ;)

It is so soothing just sitting and watching life pass them by. I just need to feed them a few granules of fish food a day. There is such a marked contrast to the time when the aquarium was greenish with algae and the fish lethargic.

Have a great week ahead. :)

ok, tell honestly which house construction you stole from?lolz…

to be honest, honestly,….i had some renovation done on my home around Christmas last year during the great Sibu flood. the bricks are the trash left over which i have been too lazy to clear from my compound :)

The bricks actually look good inside the aquarium. I long to have an aquarium, lol. Nobody wants to clean though. Anyway I just have to grin at that quip of yours, “nothing is free except true love”.

    everything else costs money :)

the fish seem to be eating the algae

The bricks look nice inside the aquarium. You must have spend a lot of time maintaining that aquarium.
    Happy Easter!

you brought the fish tank in from the sun, well done but not too sure using back yard bricks for decor is a good idea tho..coz they may contain toxic

at first iwas a bit worried too but the filter seems to be too powerful..the fish need somewhere to rest away from the current.. but i jus checked. they r happy frolicking :)

You love parrot fish too? Wow! Good for you man! I have been rearing them since say…young. But lots of time they died due to white spot. And now I’m away from home so I can’t really keep any. But I’m graduating soon…hopefully I can have my very own parrots. Do tell me if your parrot bred ya. =)
