I watched this interview here,here, and herethe other day. I was pleasantly surprised to see the extent to which RTM has become more open. I then found this video on Lillian’s blog. I posted it for those who might have missed the programme the other day. In my opinion this openness is a positive step in the right direction.

Interesting character : Wen Wen, young mother of two.
Wen Wen : I was wondering what I had done wrong when both my dogs died. The vet said it was death by poisoning. I blamed myself.
A week later, I was asleep when I felt a certain sensation. A hand seemed to be rubbing my face and trying to wake me up or make me go to sleep. I couldn’t make it out. I just couldn’t wake up as I was too tired. I said a silent prayer and said if it was from God let it be a blessing and if it wasn’t from God let the unholy spirit be banished from my presence.

Benghui came home and told me he had been disciplined by his headmistress for creating a disturbance in class. I asked him why he was beaten. He said he wasn’t noisy. He was just playing a game called scissors, stone and cloth. Malaysians are familiar with this game.

I was at Farley Supermarket this morning and I saw lots of bonzai plants for sale. Unfortunately I saw few buyers although there were many people who came just to gawk like me. Bonzai plants are for the serious green thumb people. They are not easy to maintain and are very expensive.

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw it flowering this morning. I don’t know the name of this plant but it needs lots of water. Any body who knows the name of this plant please tell me the name
The citrus fruits are from my garden but they just happened to be there because my son went to get some fruits to eat and put it there.
I received this tag from red-hot-mama Lillian. I found it quite fun except that I didn’t realize we have so many fans and air-conditioners all over the place and in all sorts of nooks and corners. But the humble fans are very much in demand and a necessity in our hot climates.
I plant trees to shade the house from the sun. I use black tinted glass to keep out the heat and the glare but a tropical climate is still a tropical climate.
Ths week’s theme is signs and preferably funny. For this post I have no entry and while thinking about it during a company meeting, I was doodling and as expressions on people’s faces are signs of a person’s feelings, I submit the following three pieces I am no artist.
