Weekend snapshot : Rendang chicken, birthday celebration and landscaped garden
Today has been like any other lazy weekend except that I cooked rendang chicken. Honestly my wife thinks rendang chicken is sinful for all the calories it contains including the coconut milk. But I don’t care. I love to eat delicious food 
At night I had the honor of attending my good friend’s birthday party. We occasionally spend time together and our common interest is food. He loves to eat good food. So do I.
This of course is the birthday cake. I noticed the amount of cake consumed is inversely proportional to the age of an individual The older you are the less cake you eat. The kids eat the most cake. The adults tend to be more calorie conscious.
I look at his carefully landscaped garden with envy. I think of the wild nature of my garden and the long grass and want to swoon. Isn’t the garden beautiful?
I was fascinated by this 3 dimensional furnishing too.

Birthday cakes now for the adults in the family I think are mainly bought for the joy seek of the kids
They’re the ones more excited and attack most out of the cakes!! Plus, they tend to blow out the candles for you too

I think I’ve done too many sinful things in my life - rendang chicken, chicken masala, beef korma…..too many that I can’t recall all of them :O oops!

Eat, drink and be merry for you know not what tomorrow brings. Everything in moderation is fine otherwise there is nothing we can enjoy.
