Low fat noodle Chinese breakfast dish for a diet

low fat noodles

This is a low fat noodle dish. It is simple. On a plate put a little salt, pepper, tomato sauce and optional sesame oil. Boil some noodles and drain. Transfer the noodles and toss it with the ingredients on a plate. Garnish with some chiilies. For the ingredients, blanch some bitter gourd pieces, kangkung or tauge( brussel sprouts ) or whatever takes your fancy. In this particular dish I have added some chicken pieces and some sar hor fun type of noodles to make it look better. ( For Benghui I have to add some thick black soya sauce. )

If you feel this won’t be enough to ease the pangs of hunger, serve with some chicken soup in small separate individual bowls. It costs practically nothing to feed a small family breakfast in this manner.

in heat male dog

Brutus has been replaced by a bigger more macho dog stalking my Oopi. It is like I am operating a Sibu brothel for dogs. Sexy Oopi attracting dogs from the neighbourhood. One of the neighbours told me to feed his dog as his dog hasn’t gone home. Luckily Blackie has won and chased them all away. I am no longer responsible for them.

In the end, Oopi still prefers Benghui whom she adores. She tolerates all the wild and rough and tumble games that Benghui plays without a word of complaint or show of aggression.

boy doing chores

I joked last month as a nine-year-old he should be earning his keep. After all, I told him we are also very tired and need his help. He has been doing his chores during the weekends. ( Ahem at least when he is in a good mood :) )

Something happened today to make me believe in miracles. Very often things are in God’s hands. It takes faith however to let go and take His guiding hand. We worry, fret and rant unnecessarily.

Praise God from whom all blessings flow
Praise him all creatures here below
Praise him above ye heavenly hosts
Praise father, Son and Holy Ghost

Add tomato sauce and sesame oil in the bowl first, then add in boiled noodles and toss….I enjoy making simple noodle dish this way too!
